Collection: Bollywood Pixelated

Bollywood Pixelated is a collection where Bollywood dreams collide with our digital realities.

This collection was inspired by my love of Bollywood, especially 90's and Classic Bollywood that I grew up with, and the side-scrolling pixel games of my youth. That pixelated aesthetic is popular again in indie games and especially with Minecraft. The combining of the two worlds felt so apt given how digital our lives have become.

I also gravitated to the strong nostalgia and emotion of these images despite the pixelation. Those who had these associations would immediately not only identify the images but break into song or dialogue!
